Setting up your Houndsy Kibble Dispenser is quick and straightforward. Follow the steps below to get started:
Step 1: Unbox all components
Remove and open the white box located beneath the Quick Start Guide. Inside, you’ll find:
- Stainless steel bowl(s)
(4) angled legs
Wall anchor
Perfect Portion Promise card
Step 2: Open the main dispenser box
Open the inner box and remove the protective styrofoam from the top of the dispenser.
Step 3: Unlock and remove the lid
Turn both knobs counterclockwise to unlock the lid, then lift it off and set it aside.
Step 4: Remove the dispenser from the box
Carefully lift the dispenser straight up and out of the box.
- Alternatively, lay the box on its side and slide it out

Note: The base weighs approximately 25 lbs, so lift with care
Step 5: Attach the legs
Place the dispenser on a clean, flat surface and screw in the (4) angled legs. Once secured, stand the unit upright.
Step 6: Secure to the wall
Use the included wall anchor to secure the dispenser for added stability and safety.
Step 7: Insert the bowl
Place one of the provided stainless steel bowls into the drawer.
- Each bowl corresponds to a specific serving size as part of our Perfect Portion Promise
Important: Never close the drawer without a bowl in place, as kibble may fall out.
Step 8: Add kibble
Pour your dog’s kibble into the storage bin. Close the lid and turn the knobs clockwise to lock it securely.

Step 9: Understand the safety mechanism
The dispenser features an auto-locking system to prevent accidental servings. Always lift the knob before pushing or pulling to operate the drawer
Step 10: Dispense kibble
With the drawer open, lift the knob and gently push or pull to operate
- Close the drawer and wait for kibble to dispense into the bowl
- Pull the drawer out to access the filled bowl
Important: Never push a full bowl of kibble back into the dispenser.
